I was recently accepted by the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) as a Registered Interior Designer.

The award of this status followed a rigorous assessment process whereby the BIID scrutinised all aspects of my design and business practices to ensure that they meet the high standards expected of a Registered Interior Designer.

The BIID says about Registered Interior Designer status:

“membership of the BIID is selective and only given to those who demonstrate the highest level of professional knowledge and experience.” 

I am delighted that my skills and expertise have been recognised with this award.

There is a wealth of resources and advice available from the BIID which will benefit my business and my clients. I believe that my Registered Designer Status further demonstrates to clients that they can trust in my professionalism and commitment to design excellence.

When the COVID pandemic struck and the UK went into lockdown I knew, like the majority of business owners, that I would have to adapt my way of working. Interior design is traditionally a very hands-on service, with each project requiring multiple site visits, shopping trips, designer-client meetings and liaison with contractors.
